Safety standards

N95 respirator is one of nine standards formulated by NIOSH in 1995.

"N" means "not resistant to oil". "95" means that the particle concentration in the mask is 95% lower than that outside the mask when exposed to a specified number of special test particles.

95% is not the average value, but the minimum value, so the average value of the actual product is mostly set at 99%.

Choose the right type of mask

1.The materials used for the mask shall be free of peculiar smell and harmless to human body, especially the materials for the part of human face contact, which shall be free of irritation and allergy.

2. Choose a regular manufacturer

In order to prevent influenza, we usually use ordinary gauze mask or medical protective mask, which needs to be purchased from the legal medical stores or the manufacturers with health license or medical device registration certificate.

3. Select qualified mask

When choosing masks, it depends on whether there is a trade name on the package, whether there is information about the manufacturer or supplier, whether there is a mask certificate or instructions. Disposable masks also need to have a one-time indication, and sterilization methods should be indicated for reusable medical protective masks. Generally speaking, ordinary gauze masks should indicate whether they are ordinary or sterile.
